As an ideal intermediate step between street and race pads, the Bluestuff brake pad is the number 1 choice for many drivers who need a pad for fast street applications, track days (free driving) or shorter races.

Comparison to EBC Yellowstuff brake pad:
The Bluestuff has a slightly higher coefficient of friction, but provides excellent pedal feel on both the street and track and has greater resistance to brake fade. The EBC Brakes Bluestuff, however, is a track-focused brake pad, which means that, unlike Yellowstuff, there is more brake dust and braking noise, as is often the case with performance-oriented friction materials and race pads. Bluestuff brake pads are available for many vehicle types with ECE R90 road approval.

Deep 'V-Grooves' ensure optimal ventilation and catch dirt, dust and abrasion. The new NDX friction material from EBC Brakes is bonded to the back plate by an additional chemical intermediate layer. This increases the grip and resistance to shear forces by a factor of 5. The surface is 'pre-run in' so to speak, which enables a running-in phase of just 3-4 braking operations on the race track.
