The coilover suspension, which is made to order at KW automotive in Germany, has a racing suspension system, adjustable dampers and aluminum unibal support bearings.

Damper setup, compression and rebound damping on the XTA
The damper setup preset in the suspension production for the Hyundai i20 N can be further adjusted individually on the XTA; after all, in addition to the option of continuous lowering, the XTA also has the option of adjusting the low-speed rebound individually. There are a total of 16 characteristic curves for adjusting the rebound and the recommended and preset damper setup for the Hyundai i20 N and i20 N Performance is nine clicks on the front and rear axle. Among other things, the adjustable rebound valve influences how quickly the suspension rebounds during load changes when the suspension is compressed.
The rebound can be adjusted in the setup in just a few simple steps. If the low-speed rebound valve is closed further, the handling increases. If, on the other hand, the rebound valve is opened, the handling becomes less direct and the ride comfort increases.
The high-speed and low-speed compression damping as well as the high-speed rebound damping are not adjustable on the XTA and are already pre-set during production.
